What is festival fashion? Is fashion a dirty word? Can festival fashion be truly inclusive? And affordable?

Ash Lorona and Tessla Venus Goodwin are the Glitter Spies. They’re best friends, vendor coordinators, and deep thinkers about festival style as affordable, inclusive, eco-friendly self-expression.

On the podcast, Ash and Tessla take us through all the magic of adorning yourself as a work of art both at a festival and in the world. We go deep on some issues around fashion at festivals like decommodification, cultural appropriation, and the toll of our personal style on the environment.

This episode was a real joy for me, as radical self-expression is very important in my life. Ash and Tessla are playful, informed, kind, and wise. Whatever your comfort level in dressing yourself to celebrate, this episode will have something for you.
